We had a touching conversation with Hyru at www.loavesfishes.org She told us that they serve dinner to about 70 guests on a daily basis and many of them are homeless. She said they would welcome gently used shoes and that they could use a lot of shoes…She also gave her cell phone for working out logistics, so we can call her before our trip. She said Shoecyclist kids were doing an amazing thing by helping our community – We feel it’s people like you Hyru, who deserve all our gratitude.
